Yvette began her career in law enforcement with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement and Police Science from Sam Houston University. While working as a law enforcement officer Yvette pursued her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. In 2018, Yvette began her counseling care. Yvette has worked with individuals in crisis, with juvenile justice system, with battered women, and with individuals in need of mental health. Yvette is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) by the EMDR International Association. She continues to work with adults, children, and adolescents with a primary focus using EMDR.
