Your First Visit

What Should I Expect?

The first step in receiving counseling care for you or a loved one is to call our office to schedule an appointment. A caring and compassionate staff member will assist you in the process and help to schedule you with one of our counselors or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for in person or telehealth appointment. Our experienced staff and professional counselors are always confidential. You will be treated with dignity and respect and provided with the highest standard of care. Our counselors will work with you at your own pace to help you to establish and reach your personal counseling goals.

  • When you call you will need to give basic information to schedule the appointment
  • New Client Forms will be emailed prior to your appointment
  • Appointments are one hour in length with a licensed professional counselor
  • We can provide counseling in Spanish 

What Do I Need For My First Visit?

Please bring your insurance card, social security number, driver’s license or valid State I.D., and New Client Forms upon your first visit.

If there are custody papers involved with a minor, and you are the parent or guardian, please bring legal documentation.

What Do Services Cost?

We will do our best to work with your financial resources. Our friendly staff members will help you with your insurance provider to determine coverage. The cost per hourly session of counseling is $125. We accept many insurance plans, cash, credit card, employee assistance programs, and Medicaid.

Services with our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner can include medication management and/or psychotherapy, initial hourly session is $250, a follow-up 30-minute session is $125.

We want you to receive the care you need. We will do our best to help you through our client assistance fund, if you are currently in a situation of being uninsured, underinsured, or having low income. The fund uses a sliding scale for those clients who qualify.

For our Military men and women, we have resources to assist with the cost of counseling care.

New Client Forms

We are here to help you achieve great mental and emotional health. Your first step is to schedule an appointment with one of our licensed counselors or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In person or telehealth appointments available. You can schedule by simply calling us at 432-563-4144.

Before your first visit, we encourage you to download and complete the New Client Forms. Bring them in with you for a reduced check-in time your first visit. If you are not able to fill out the New Client Forms prior to your appointment, you may do so upon your arrival. Just allow extra time your first appointment for this important paperwork.
